ICD 9 to ICD 10

Hi,

I have a data set with ICD 9 codes and another with ICD 10. I need compare both. Is there a stata command to convert ICD 9 codes to ICD 10?

No, there is not. And note that you have posted in forum for Mata, which is Stata's matrix language. You should post general Stata queries in the General forum.

Converting ICD-9 to ICD-10 codes is not a trivial task. Some codes may map directly, while others don't, and even still, the guidance for using one code may change between versions. This is the sort of thing that is better suited to domain experts (medical doctors, insurance and medical billing coders).
