felsdvregdm dimensions error

I'm using the command felsdvregdm on Stata 16, but I have the following error:


Computing generalized inverse, dimension: 141
Start: 15 Mar 2021 16:52:18
_invsym(): 3300 argument out of range
decompreg(): - function returned error
<istmt>: - function returned error
r(3300);


Do you know how could I solve it?

That error indicates that a command in the internals of felsdvregdm failed in a way that felsdvregdm neither anticipated nor guarded against. The error message may be informative to the authors but hopeless for end users like us.

The community-contributed felsdvregdm command is downloaded from the Stata Journal (as the Statalist FAQ asks you to note for commands not part of base Stata). The output of the commands

net sj 10-1 st0185
help felsdvregdm

both provide a name and email address for support. I suspect the authors would appreciate learning of a circumstance in which their command will fail gracelessly.

Thank you William. I'm not sure the problem is in the codes. In fact, if I cut the sample, there is another error... I'll try to contact the author as you suggested.
