Mata, websites and databases

I'm just starting out on a project looking at integrating my output from stata into a MySQL database and then interfacing this with a website database.

I'm looking at using Django with Python but just wondered whether Mata could do something similar. Has anyone got any advice/comments on this?

There aren't any direct frameworks like that in Mata, but I did put together an object oriented HTML library in Mata a while ago that you could use to construct HTML.

Thanks for your reply. I have just spent the time and effort learning javascript so I can do this.
