Mata with Stata Plugin

Dear all,

I am trying to figure if Stata plugins can handle Mata matrix or Mata data. I looked into the plugin's webpage (http://www.stata.com/plugins/) but was not able to find any reference related to Mata with Stata Plugin.

I would like to test some hybrid codes from Plugin and Mata where it can read data from Mata directly from memory. If it is not possible, the plugin might need to read the file exported from Mata, or do everything in the plugin.

Dear Minh,
Have you succeeded in including Mata matrix in Stata plugin? I really doubt you can if you write it in C language.
That's might be a silly advice, but why not instead creating a user-written program (.ado) file in which you can combine Mata and Stata?
I a plugin might have some advantages comparing to an ado file, but when you have no alternatives...
