Dropping Items for specific criterias

I recently started using Stata and are therefore quite new to this game.

In my dataset I want to eliminate certain criterias, for instance turnover which exceeds 5 million euros.

This is no problem by using the drop command, but I want to remove this for specific years, hence some companies which may have excdeeded this in 2009, did not exceed it in 2008 etc.

So I want to create a command where I can specify the Turnover limit for certain years.

I know it is an easy question, but I would appreciate the help
