Hi all. I was caught out recently when I used Sergiy Radyakin's very useful -use13-: I naively assumed the behavior was similar to Stata's official -use- in that the default extension would be ".dta". In fact, the extension has to be specified. I thought this was a bug, but Sergiy says it's a feature and suggested opening a thread here where he would comment.
So... thread opened.

PS: Note to list maintainers - I tried to include "use" as a tag but this was auto-rejected because it is an "overly common word". You might want to tweak so that Stata commands that are also common words in English do get through as tags.
