Welcome to the new Statalist

There are four forums in which you may post. They are

General. This is for the usual discussion that would have appeared on the old Statalist.

Mata. Same as General, but focused on Mata programming issues. We're trying out the idea of splitting those topics.

Using the Forum. This is for discussion of forums issues such as, I can't figure out how to get a graph into my post.

Sandbox. This is for testing. Posts you make in the sandbox are ignored.

I am trying to access a statafile in a zipped folder. However, upon extracting the folder and clicking my file of interest, I receive an error message... use C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DIa0.220\Ugan da_2006_2013_Panel.dta
file C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar.220\Uganda_20 06_2013_Panel.dta not found
