  • Where to find -usecspro- package for importing CSPRO data into STATA?

    Hello,

I found online a presentation of the package -usecspro- written by Sergiy Radyakin to import CSPRO data into STATA (see http://repec.org/usug2013/radyakin.uk13.pdf). However -findit- cannot find it anywhere, nor could Google lead me to anywhere it could be downloaded. Any leads to this package, or to another that could do the same, would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Momar

    Momar:
I would send a message to Sergiy Radyakin, who is a contributor to this forum. See Using Private Messages section in FAQ for further details.

    Kind regards,

      Hi Carlo,

I'm having the same issue as Momar. I'm trying to import some micro data to Stata bu I would need the usecspro package to do so. Could it be possible to ask Sergiy Radyakin if he could send it?
      Many thanks and kind regards,
      Luisa

        Hello all,

I'm having the same issue as Luisa and Momar. Was anyone able to determine where the program is available for download? I have also emailed Sergiy Radyakin, but have not yet heard back. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Dear @Sergiy Radyakin, My name is Yaya Ky, I found trough the web your stata command which permits to export data from Cspro. Can you, please, give me this package? Thank you very much.

I don't know why Sergiy Radyakin did respond privately to Emily Stammer and not openly to this thread. But a search delivered the following link to Sergiy's page with information on how to get access to the usecspro package, see http://radyakin.org/transfer/cspro/ . Probably he is planning to update the package and does not want to give you a fix link to the beta version.

If you keep in mind that it is valid only currently (July 18, 2016), the following Stata command will install the package directly:
                Code:
                net install usecspro, from("http://www.radyakin.org/transfer/cspro/beta")

Yes, you are late - you should write to Sergiy directly if he will not respond here, see http://radyakin.org/transfer/cspro/ .

I have written a private email to Sergiy Radyakin with a request to kindly share the link to download usecspro Stata package. I have conducted a primary health survey for my thesis and I have a two-level dataset: individual and household. The program developed by Sergiy Radyakin will be highly useful for me to export data from CSPro to Stata. I went through this discussion forum on Statalist and therefore wrote privately for support in installing the package. I look forward to hear a positive response. If there is someone else who can help in this regard, please help me.
