Login/Register link of the forum is disabled

After a while of using the forum I have found myself in the situation when my account settings was locked (disabled): (see top right corner)

Browsing and posting to forum worked fine. I managed to logout myself, and now can't log back in.



This happens only on ONE computer and only in FireFox. FireFox on another computer is working fine and I am posting this from Internet Explorer which also works on this machine.

1. I cleared the cookies multiple times.
2. I updated the FireFox to most recent.
3. I upgraded Java to most recent.
4. I have waited for 24 hours to make sure this is not any kind of maintenance works.

Is there anything else I can try to make it work since none of the above helped?

Do you have any add-ons installed in that copy of Firefox?

Try clearing your cache on that copy of Firefox. Do you see the same problem if you open a new "private" window within that Firefox? (File -- New Private Windows, or Ctrl+Shift+P)

Is Javascript enabled?

Dear Alan, thank you very much!

I tried to disable all the addons, but that didn't help.
JavaScript is and was enabled all the time (as of version 23 of FireFox they moved the JavaScript setting into advanced options not immediately accessible, so I wouldn't switch it off by accifent).

Only after clearing cache entirely I could login again, and I am writing this message from my usual FireFox browser.
So the problem is solved now.

PS: I didn't try the private window option, as the issue disappeared and is not reproducible anymore.
