I am trying to use a version of this code to get ORs for a logistic model with a quadratic term as well as an interaction term (e.g. logit dx c.var1##c.var1##i.var2, or), but the CIs do not appear to be correct (or at least they are not the same as those that are output in a lincom statement). I would love some insight into why the CIs are different (i.e. am I doing something wrong, or should they be different because they are calculated differently?).

Clyde Schechter I am resurrecting this post because of Clyde's explanation on a very similar topic where there was a similar discrepancy between CIs derived from the delta method and Wald CIs. It may not answer your question specifically, Amanda, but a) you aren't seeing things, and b) this is something you do not need to worry about.
