are there any tools in Stata community for working with parquet format data?

Is there any National Statistical Agency or a similar major data producer that distributes data in this format?

Read and write parquet files from Stata (Linux/Unix only). I have only seen this format in geographical data, never used.

NBER Census–IPUMS is available in parquet: https://data.nber.org/data/census-ipums/

The French government also makes available many datasets in parquet: https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/?format=parquet
