Stata 18 - traj command not recognized

Dear Statalist members,

I am a PhD candidate and new to Stata. I have recently downloaded Stata 18 and am trying to perform trajectory analysis using the traj command. However, Stata does not seem to recognize the command, and I couldn’t find it in the built-in help files for this version.

Is traj part of a package that needs to be installed?

Yes, it is. Try to install traj as follows.

net from http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/bjones/traj
net install traj, force
