Applying LPA on MCA generated indices.

So, I used Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) to generate 4 sub-indices from a survey. Now, I then proceeded to apply Latent Profile Analysis on these sub-indices to further generate sub-groups from the survey based on the indices. I wanted to confirm if it's appropriate to do so?
