I am using spmaps to show variables of interest using us county polygons. I would like to overlay point data, but spmaps will not work because there are multiple points per polygon ID. Does anyone know how to circumvent this?

What is the code you were running?
What is the error message you are getting?

What are the points supposed to represent? If you just want to shade certain counties, you can enforce a single point per polygon ID. See
