I've run a probit regression with eight predictor variables and calculated the marginal effects for each. I’m now interested in identifying which predictors have the strongest explanatory power for the dependent variable. Can I use the marginal effects to make this comparison, or would standardized coefficients be a better approach for ranking predictor importance?
