Distribution of dependent variable - Which method should I use?

Dear all,

I have a dependent variable measuring the deviation from 0 on a scale from -100 to 100 (in steps of 10). Most individuals indicate have no deviation from 0, while negative deviations are more likely than positive deviations. Which method can I use to address the distribution?

I would scale your outcome to [0, 1] and consider logit modelling.
