Hi,
I have a firm-year panel dataset, and I want to merge it with an individual-level dataset (individual, location, year, firm, and other attributes). In theory, I can merge these two datasets using firm and year identifiers. However, does this automatically result in a firm-location-year panel? If not, how can I achieve that? Ultimately, my goal is to run a regression at the firm-location level.
Additionally, is it possible to conduct a difference-in-differences regression when there are multiple events for the same firm?
Dependent Variable l,j,t =β(Treat ×Post )+ Controls + ϵ l,j,t ; l represents the individual location; j represents the firm; t refers to year
Any guidance and suggestion will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
