  • CSDID results interpretation

    Hi,

I'm having troubles understanding CSDID results and I really hope someone could help me out here!

    I have two question:
1)For a result table in Stata like this, does the coefficient mean: for treated group in year 2014, the treatment's impact on the outcome variable, between the period of 2013-2015 is 0.029532?
    Code:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                 | Coefficient Std. err. z P>|z| [95% conf. interval]
    -------------+----------------------------------------------------------------
    g2014 |
     t_2013_2015 | .0291532 .0254949 1.14 0.253 -.0208159 .0791222
2)When I exported the results table into a word document, I don't understand how my results got split into two groups, one group starting with 't' the other starting with 'w'. The 't' one has an ascending order of years and corresponds to the coefficients I got in the Stata output, e.g. t2004-2005, t2005-2006. The 'w' group has a descending order of years, e.g. w2014-2004, w2014-2005. The starting year in w seems to be the treatment year, but I really don't know what to make of the coefficients that were recorded in this group.

Could someone please help me out here? I'm nearing the deadline of my dissertation, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks so much!

Thanks, I have contacted the Statalist team to change it. Could you please help me out on my Stata problem here?

#3 is what I say all too often in these situations, with some impact on my reputation as a curmudgeon or worse.

Beyond that, in my University seeking help for a first degree dissertation in this way would be against regulations, and that kind of context may be behind why you're hiding your real identity. On the other hand, if this is allowed where you are, why not show good faith and give us a real name? You don't need to await for the list administrator; you can add it to your posts.

All that said, this is seeking help for an assignment, a grey area on which the FAQ has advice too, boiling down to: Please don't do that.

            Hi
            1) close. It’s the effect measured between 2013 and 2015. (Pre and post-treatment year). Specifically, those years indicate which year is used as post, and which year as pre.
            2) The Ws are weights do not require interpretation. THey are used to calculate the different aggregations.

My name is Cami Zhang, I do apologise for not registering with my real name as I did not see the requirement for it when I registered, not because I was trying to hide my real identity to hide anything that might compromise academic integrity. I have asked the admin to change it for me.

Additionally, all I am asking on this post is a little help on interpreting the results of my regressions that I have already written by myself because I am not familiar with the technique, and have not found much relevant resources online after reviewing the topic thoroughly.
