Reading data error

Hello.
I have an issue. I have multiple excel files that I read into Stata.
The issue is that, for any reason, Stata does not read the time (Minute and seconds of trades) for the first excel file. I checked the program, nothing; the cells properties into excel, they are identical.
Also, I shifted the first 2 excel names and the results shifted in Stata, which suggests the issue is in the Excel doc.
I know the Excel docs and same program was used by somebody else, with correct results (for them this did not happened).
Can you help with indications regarding to where might be the problem ?

Stata does not read the time (Minute and seconds of trades) for the first excel file

means. Show us how the variable looks like in Excel and its format, as well as the exact output from Stata.

Andrew Musau is bang on here. Without a clear example of the file(s) concerned, the exact code you used and the precise problem you got, there is not enough here to go on. Puzzlement that someone else supposedly did a similar thing and got good results is not a problem report we can go on.
