Data from multiple sources

Hello everyone

If I am taking my data from various sources, how do I address the data compatibility? For example, data for variable A is sourced from one data source, and data for variable B is sourced from another data source.

"Data compatibility" could mean many things, and that variation makes answering your question somewhere between difficult and impossible (<grin>). You might mean that the unit of analysis in the sources differs, or that there is some variation in the key variability, or that there is some kind of difference in precision, etc. If you would explain/illustrate about the kind of incompatibility you have in mind, that would facilitate you getting some help. Further, a reasonable solution will likely depend heavily on the substance of your research area and problem, and not be simply an issue within Stata.
