  • Create an equivalent Stata 18's dtable code in Stata 17 (that also shows hypothesis tests and p-values)

    Hello,
I currently use Stata 17 and would like to create a table similar to the dtable code in Stata 18 that also show the differences between groups as well as hypothesis tests (p-values) as shown below.
I will be grateful for any help I can get on this.
    Regards,
    Ike

You should check out table1_mc from SSC. It produces table 1 descriptive tables with simple tests.

In the Statalist thread linked here I show how to get table (in Stata 17) to reproduce a table created by dtable. It is a fairly simple example, but it does not have p-values.

In the Statalist thread linked here I show how to write your own program that uses table and collect that includes p-values and other style/layout choices requested by the original poster. Beware, there is a lot going on in this thread.
