RDS data

I have r4eceived a data set in RDS format and saw a post referring to github as a way to get the data into Stata. But the github link is defunct. Is there a way to get the data into a Stata format? I tried using Stat Transfer with the belief that RDS was related to R, but that didn't work. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

My understanding is that RDS files are one way that objects can be saved from R. There are loads of links showing how to use R to read these files with a Google search. For a one off solution, why not use R to import the file and then save it out to something you can use in Stata? Or else you’ll need to go back to the person who sent you the file to ask them to convert it for you, which shouldn’t be much hassle either.
