I am using the stata command of mixlogitwtp by Hole(2016) in my choice data. However, I had some difficulties.
I created a new variable "mprice" by multiplying prices by (-1). When I execute the command, I receive an error message for the lower price range: The price variable should be multiplied by -1 so that it has a positive coefficient in the conditional logit model. r(498).
My monetary attribute is a residual value can take positive, negative value or zero (-550, -250, 0, 250). So, in my database , I have negative and positive value or zero .
mixlogitwtp choiceeff, group(idscenbis) id(ID) price(mprice) rand(ascSQ SlightEnviQuality GreatEnviQuality SlightBioReg GreatBioReg IncrUncertainty NeighbAdopt) nrep (50).
Please can someone help me to find out what could be causing the problem ?
