I am trying to reshape downloaded WDI data. I used the command "wdireshape v1-v24, prepend(YR) ctyname(CountryName) sername(SeriesName) ctycode(CountryCode) sercode (SeriesCode)" and get this error message "The years must be prepended by one or two letters from a to z" and STATA refuses to reshape. But the years are alread prepended with "YR" as follows: YR2023 YR2022 YR2021 YR2020 ...etc. Can anybody help me with this?
