Hello,
This post is not stata related but IPUMS ACS ( American Community Sruvey ) research related question.
I'm working with a set of data from the years 2018 to 2022 across all 50 states. Although I have my desired year, state FIP, and outcome variable in that dataset, I don't have the variables for demographics.
Therefore, I'm planning to find those variables for all 50 states from IPUMS ACS 5-year estimates, available here (https://www.census.gov/data/develope...tab-1806015614).
However, I'm not sure how many 5-year averages I should be using. Should I continue to use each 5-year average available for all of them - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022?
Or am I supposed to use only the 5-year average available for 2022?
