  • Stock Price Prediction using Monte Carlo

Hello! I hope everybody is doing great and is in good health. I have a question regarding the "simulate" command, namely, the Monte Carlo Simulation command. I have gathered data on the monthly prices of NVIDIA, SnP500(market risk proxy), and the 3-month T-Bills interest rate(risk-free proxy) from 1999 until now. I plan on analyzing their returns(I have already generated the returns and the excess returns) by using several models - CAPM, ARIMA, ARCH/GARCH(EGARCH, GARCHM, etc.) I was doing some similar analysis in Excel and thought it a good idea to use Monte Carlo to simulate the future stock price of the company(as I have done in MC in Excel). However, when I read the syntax of "simulate", none of the examples make it clear how I can generate a simulation for future prices. Is there an easier way to implement this method, or perhaps another command that helps forecast future stock prices? Thank you!
