I have a panel dataset that includes banks, countries and different parameters to measure profitability.
I am hoping to group the countries by region i.e looking specifically at the West so I can make cross-continent comparisons. However, I am struggling to group the data into a variable that would represent all the data for firms and countries in the North, East, South and West separately.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
