Binary Data (0 or 1 only) with Excessive 0s

I have an independent variable that is binary (either 0 or 1) with excessive 0s. It's not a count variable. What regression should I use?

as written, your question makes no sense as the type of regression to use depends much more on the dependent variable than on the independent variable

if, however, you made a typo and are talking about your dependent variable, note that this issue has often been discussed on this list, often under the heading of "rare" events; there are a number of issues involved and you do not provide enough information so I suggest you do a search and see what other discussions have recommended based on information that you don't provide, but presumably know - you can then either provide more info or find your answer in these discussions
