Any possible methods to define level variables in xtreg/xteregress?

Dear all, Now I am working with a dataset on education. Here I want to explore how home-school communication affect students' academic achievements. Since the independent variable is exogenous, it seems xteregress command fit best here. But I also want to control variables on class and school levels(like teacher and school status). Are there any methods to define those level variables? (Just as the command mixed) Thanks for all help.
