  • Bayesian Dynamic Factor Model

    Dearest,

I plan to investigate common factors driving co-movement in Italian Municipalities local growth. I mainly refer to "Beetsma, R. M., Cimadomo, J., & Van Spronsen, J. (2022). One scheme fits all: A central fiscal capacity for the EMU targeting eurozone, national and regional shocks".

The paper employs a Bayesian Dynamic Factor Model to measure EU, Country-specific and Regional idiosyncratic shocks.

I see that Stata allows for dynamic factor modelling through the dfactor command. However, as far as I could understand, it doesn't allow for the Bayesian specification.

Do you know if there are any procedures or commands to develop a Bayesian Dynamic Factor Model in Stata?

    Thank you in Advance.

PS: It's the first time i'm using the Forum and I am a Stata beginner. Please tell me if I made any mistake.
