  • Bivariate probit model and conjoint experiment

    Hi there,

I am working on estimating a bivariate probit model for a conjoint experiment. In the experiment, respondents were presented with ten randomized choice tasks, wherein they were presented with two hypothetical walking programs (Program A and Program B) and asked to choose one program over the other. Respondents were then asked whether they would enroll in the chosen program or continue with their current routine (i.e., not enroll).

The model I am trying to estimate using the bivariate probit model is as follows:

Where D_{no_program} is a dummy variable indicating the respondent's choice of "what I do currently" instead of enrolling in Program A or B. The individual-specific characteristics are constant for any pair of alternative programs and are interacted with D_{no_program}.

However, I am struggling to input my data to STATA.
