Hi guys!
I have an assignment where I have to do some exercises in Stata. I am having trouble with the following:
Question 3: Dynamic model and IV estimation
Inflation is usually considered as a dynamic phenomenon. By way of example, the theory of built-in inflation argues that rising prices induce workers to demand higher wages, which, in turn, feeds into higher prices (wage-price spiral).
--> Based on the standard set of explanatory variables (see question 2(b)), provide the results of the Difference GMM estimator. Use the onestep version with robust standard errors and do not include lagged variables besides the (automatically added) first order lag of the dependent variable. Do not include year fixed effects. Test for the statistical validity of your model and report the relevant statistics and explain.
With the explanatory variables from 2b, I built the following Stata command:
xtabond hcpi rgdp_gr M3_gr findev gov_balance fiscal_rule_n, robust
Now, to test the statistical validity, what do I have to do?
Both the estat sargan and the estat overid command do not work.
Any ideas?
Best regards!
