Stata License Information ...

Dear Statalist users
When I start Stata, the license information is displayed by default in the results window. Is there some way to set this off in Stata so that the license information is not displayed by default?

There isn't a setting that I'm aware of that would stop this display, however you can use a profile.do to clear the screen.

See this FAQ (and the link to the Advanced Stata Usage documentation therein) for how to setup your profile.do file. Inside that file, add the -cls- command which will clear the results screen. This should work, but it's been a while since I've tested it.
