  • Can stata create a love plot or is this only available on R?

    Hi can stata create a love plot?
    I tried:

    [CODE]
    love `$xlist', treat($treatment)
    graph love
    [\CODE]

    However, it seems this doesn't exist.

    This would be, or could be, an application of graph dot. Is there is a love command in Stata as your example implies? The syntax graph love would not be anywhere near standard.

      Here's a love plot.
      Code:
      graph twoway (function y = abs(x)^(2/3)+sqrt(1-x^2),  range(-1 1) lcolor(red) legend(off)) ||  (function y = abs(x)^(2/3)-sqrt(1-x^2),  range(-1 1) lcolor(red))

        I haven't matched in a long time, but it's LIKELY the average difference betwixt the treated group and the matched control group (the weighted average of propensity scores by covariate), if my memory serves me right

          Actually,
          after running psmatch2 to generate a love plot one can use
          pstest $covariates, treated($treatment), both graph
