  • Advice on the proper method of data-analysis

    Hi,

I've kind of hit a wall as far as Stata goes, so i'm posting here in the hope that someone here can help me out.
For my thesis i'm analyzing the effect of the establishment of a certain institution on economic growth within certain regions (N=12). This is ofcourse panel data, since i have multiple regions and data that spans from 1970-2016.
For each year and region i have a dummy value for the presence of that institution (0=no 1=yes), which is my treatmentv variable. I was planning to use the rdrobust package yo analyze the treatment effect, as there is a sharp. However, not every region has established this institution in the same year (some have not established it at all).

If anyone has some advice on the proper way to measure the treatment effect through Stata, please let me know. I seem to have a bit off more than i can chew.

    Kind regards,

    Daan
