I have a panel dataset consisting of populist vote shares, some socio-economic variables and an independent variable for terrorist attacks.
The panel dataset consists of 33 countries and a 40-year period between 1980 and 2020.
My socio-economic variables are: GDP growth (%), Unemployment, % Tertiary educated, % over 65, immigration % and import penetration.
I would like to plot these control variables to check whether changes in these variables affect my independent variable for terrorist attacks but I have no idea how to do this.
Any idea how this can be done?
