HELP: did_multiplegt

I have data for 33 countries spanning the time period from 1995 to 2017 for gdp and capital controls. Capital controls act as a teatment variable and is a continuous variable. I am tryin to employ DID estimation for multiple periods and groups. I an using did_multiplegt command to run my model. Could anyone of you please help me with following questions:
1. How to create a group variable in my case?
2. How many control variables can be added to the mode?
3. What does Placebo values tell us?

Q2: I don't know, why would there be a limit in this case?

Q3: I haven't read the paper describing the command in a while, so read this. Or, just read the help file since I presume they say in the help file what the placebo tests are and why we'd use them. Richa jain
