Hi there,
I am in the process of writing my master thesis and unfortunately, I am really new to the world of Stata and statistics in general. My thesis focuses on analyzing the relationship between perceived brand authenticity and perceived product quality for a brand Made in Italy. The respondents of the survey were randomly divided into control and treatment groups where the control group only received iconic authenticity cues, while the treatment group received more brand cues (indexical + authenticity cues). Now, I want to study whether the perceived brand authenticity (it's composed of several dependent variables) is higher after the treatment group is exposed to more brand cues. By doing so, we also want to account for other covariates, such as brand familiarity, brand involvement, age, income, etc. Now, to do so I don't know whether to use a diff-in-diff (there is no time dimension) or a repeated measures ANCOVA. What do you think it's the best way to study this pre-post treatment relationship with multiple dependent as well as independent variables?
