  • New to SSC Visualization tools

    Thanks to Prof Baum,
a new set of programs are now ready for use (and testing). This can help create a bit more complex visualizations.
    Here are the new tools:
color_style : change colors of your scheme (based on colorpalette and grstyle). Includes preselected palettes (in addition to the ones offered in colorpalette).
mscatter: Scatters with multiple groups in the same figure. Flexible color settings
ridgeline_plot: For the creation of Ridge/stream/stack plots. Quite flexible
sankey_plots: Creation of Sankey diagrams, but also other similar kinds of graphs.
joy_plot: Similar to ridgeline_plots. Combination of kernel densities with areas across different groups. Includes option for violin plots.

For examples of how the figures come up, please look in the helpfile, or here:

    Best wishes
    Fernando

      Thank you Nick Cox
I must say i didn't know about that one, When I contacted technical support, for an unrelated problem, they suggested another one of your commands: linkplot

I've not looked carefully but I imagine that mscatter can do some stuff that sepscatter can't do.

It's not a competition. Whatever gets good results!
