  • Generate multiple response question

    Hi,

    We're currently two danish students who are writing our final master thesis in public health, but we have encountred a problem.
    The following png. shows the actual question from a danish survey. As you can see the question (nr. 19) actually includes five different questions (a,b,c,d,e) where the respondents are able to pick more than one answeres however, in STATA, the question is coded as five differnet questions instead of five different categories.
    We would like question nr. 19 to look like the example table underneath where value "1" is if a respondent has picked that answere and value "0" if the have not picked that answere.
    Is this possible?

    While you correctly showed how you expect your data, you have not shown any data example. Read the FAQ section on how to use -dataex- and provide data example so that others can help you.
