  • Newbie playing catch up needs help

I am a late add to my statistical research class and I am trying to catch up on all the Stata posts from my professor. I'm embarrassed to be stuck on this, but I was given a dataset to breakdown titled public perceptions. The dataset contains several variables from a public opinion survey about a local region and local government activities. To start, how do I determine my unit of analysis using Stata. Is that a command I missed somewhere?

If it's public opinion, presumably your unit of analysis is a survey respondent.
