This is the question I am struggling with:
"Consider the effect of the price of the bed net on the share of households in which at least one member reported having malaria one year later. [Hint: This question is more challenging. One way to do this would be to start with the individual-level data, convert it to the household level (in order to create a dummy variable for households in which at least one member reported having malaria), and then to convert it to the price level.]"
I added attachments to provide context but I am struggling with transforming the individual level data to household level data without deleting observations. I know that there are 12 different prices at which at least one person in the household gets malaria. I need to regress the share of households who had at least one individual get malaria on price, but I have not been able to correctly manipulate the data before running this regression.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
