  • Is there a Stata 13+ replacement for log2html?

Hi All. A quick query. Is there a Stata 13+ replacement in official or unofficial Stata for log2html (a SSC package written by Kit Baum, Nick Cox, and Bill Rising)? I ask because the original Stata 8 version on SSC does not seem to work for Stata 13+ ,html files with UTF-8 characters (like Cyrillic letters). I may not have been reading the manuals/findits enough. And I do not seem to be able to make synlight work very well. (I may be missing something.)
    Best wishes
    Roger

This is very very very far out of my wheelhouse, as my mentor would say, but is webdoc the thing you're looking for? I think it's by Ben Jann...

As one of the original authors, I can't report any activity or even interest in updating it.

Many thanks to Nick and Jared. I think I'll have to ask TechSupport.

You may try to change the log2html.ado: first setting the HTML meta tag encoding to "UTF-8". Second, replace str functions with ustr functions.
