According to Stata manual on 'margins', APE are mean derivatives
Are there any differences between the APE and the AME? (the references I saw mainly use AME and when they use APE does not mention that they are computing other types of derivatives).

According to Stata manual on 'margins', APE are mean derivatives
partial effect and average partial effect. Some authors restrict the term marginal effect to mean
derivatives and use the term partial effect to denote discrete differences; see marginal effect and average marginal effect.
