Hello Stata Experts.
While using the savespss command to export data file from stata to spss. I encountered the error as show below .
The command did not execute properly in the dofile but worked well using the command line
I need help to resolve this please

You're not showing the exact commands you gave nor giving a replicable example so it is hard to advise you. But, if the command works ok from the command line but not the do file, I would just give the command from the command line unless I need to do this repeatedly.

As an alternative to usespss, rioweb often works satisfactorily, at least if the data set isn't too complicated:

As Nick Cox points out in another thread, "There can be bizarre problems with do files that have been anywhere near an application that uses non-printable formatting characters. MS Word is one culprit ."

I might just delete the current line in your do-file that is causing problems and re-type it. Maybe some characters you can't see are causing problems.
