Unique personal identifiers

Hi, I am currently analysing data from the UK Labour Force Survey. The datasets are quarterly, so I have pooled four quarters together for the year 1997. I am restricting the data to only include one observation of each household. Does that mean that I do not need to create a unique identifier?

No, I still would create one. You still have multiple panels, so just do
