• Probit regression several times

    Hello dears,

I have a household dataset for a particular country with the size of 1477. According to my task, I need to resample the sample from this dataset several times and each time, I have to run a probit regression for the question under analysis. As a trial step, I run the probit only 5 times and I noticed the number of observations is only 30-35. Can anyone help me understand this? Or am I missing something?

    Thanks,
    Farogat.

Sounds like something you'd use the bootstrap technique for. But without seeing your data or seeing what you've tried so far, I can't help much.

This sounds very much like a continuation of the topic at

      https://www.statalist.org/forums/for...e-in-a-dataset

Please take a few moments to review the Statalist FAQ linked to from the top of the page, as well as from the Advice on Posting link on the page you used to create your post. Note especially sections 9-12 on how to best pose your question. It is particularly helpful to copy commands and output from your Stata Results window and paste them into your Statalist post using code delimiters
and
, and to use the dataex command to provide sample data, as described in section 12 of the FAQ.

The more you help others understand your problem, the more likely others are to be able to help you solve your problem.

      Section 12.1 is particularly pertinent

12.1 What to say about your commands and your problem

Say exactly what you typed and exactly what Stata typed (or did) in response. N.B. exactly!
