On behalf of the Scientific Committee, Ding-Geng (Din) Chen, Olatokunbo (Toks) S. Fashola, & myself, I would like to invite everyone to the 2022 Stata Conference in Washington, DC, 4–5 August 2022. If you've attended a Stata Conference before, you know how much fun they are. If you haven't attended a meeting, this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
DC is my birthplace and my home, so I am biased, but it is a great place to visit at any time. Museums are mostly free, we have a burgeoning foodie scene, and a lot of outdoor activities in which to indulge. I'd recommend planning for at least one extra day in DC: Visit the National Gallery and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, go to a Nationals baseball game, take a kayak out on the river [https://boatingindc.com/] right by Nationals Park, and eat at Ambar Capitol Hill or Rose’s Luxury. Or hike on the Billy Goat Trail near Great Falls [https://www.canaltrust.org/pyv/billy-goat-trail-c/], bike down to Georgetown for an early meal at Filomena or Chez Billy Sud, then catch a show at the Kennedy Center [https://www.kennedy-center.org/whats...oming-events/].
The full announcement with all the details is available at https://www.stata.com/meeting/us22/
Abstracts are due by 4 April, at https://www.stata.com/meeting/us22/submissions/
If your presentation has multiple authors, please identify the presenter, for whom the conference registration fee will be waived.
Make sure to register early, as space is limited.
We look forward to seeing you there!
