  • Reported p-value in Stata when working with population.

    Hi guys,

I have a large dataset of scores provided to movies that I collected through web-scraping. The dataset consists in all the scores for all the movies existing in a website that were provided by individuals, so I can claim that my dataset equals the entire population of reviews (for this website). How should I read a p-value? For example how should I interpret a beta of comedy movies = 0.5 and the beta of horror = 0.2 but their p-value is not significant?

    Cheers and thanks

survey literature brings up the idea of superpopulation (

See if this idea fits your situation.
