Spatial codes suddenly unrecognized

Hi Statalist,

I was working on a project using spatial data, so the commands spbalance, spset, grmap were all useful. However, two months later when I return to my do file, Stata tells me that these commands are unrecognized. If I search for them, they don't show up either. I have Stata MP14. Any idea what's going on?

The SP commands were introduced in Stata 15, so it seems likely you previously were working on a computer with a later version of Stata installed.

Indeed, I have both versions 14 and 16 on my computer, thought all old versions were deleted but apparently not. Thanks for the guidance. I'm grateful for the quick fix and somewhat embarrassed!
